Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA has opened Rochester Hills (Mich.) Family Dental Group, its second de novo practice.
The practice operates with clinical autonomy while benefiting from Smile Partners USA’s infrastructure, according to a July 8 news release from the organization.
Smile Partners USA opened its first de novo practice in January 2026. Dental organizations have been investing more into de novo practices, using the new growth method to reduce costs.
“Our second de novo practice reflects the confidence we’ve gained from our first successful launch and reinforces our long-term vision for thoughtful, sustainable growth,” Dave Gaspar, CEO of Smile Partners USA, said in the release. “Every new practice we build represents an opportunity to serve another community while applying the lessons, experience and best practices developed throughout our organization.”
The DSO has more than 130 locations across Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Colorado, Alabama, Ohio and Massachusetts, according to its website.
