PLANTATION, Fla.—Dr. Contact Lens, a healthcare technology company providing a cloud-based contact lens ordering and patient retention platform for ECPs, announced it has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list for the fourth consecutive year. The company ranked No. 3,251 on the annual list, which recognizes the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the U.S. “Four years on this list means four years of optometric practices deciding that contact lens revenue was worth fighting for,” said Dr. Brianna Rhue, CEO and co-founder of Dr. Contact Lens.
“Every point of our growth started as a prescription that used to walk out someone’s door and now doesn’t. The growth is theirs before it is ours. We just built the system that made it possible,” Dr. Rhue said.
Dr. Contact Lens was founded in 2016 by Jennifer Tabiza, OD, and Brianna Rhue, OD, to solve a problem they were seeing in their own practices. Patients would have an eye exam, take their contact lens prescription and purchase lenses elsewhere, costing the practice both revenue and, often, the ongoing relationship with the patient.
The platform now serves thousands of independent optometry practices nationwide as an ordering system and customer relationship management tool built specifically for contact lens patients. Practices use it to track reorder schedules, send automated reminders, and keep patients engaged between visits.
The announcement said this year’s Inc. 5000 recognizes a new class of companies redefining what growth looks like. Past honorees on the list have included Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle and Patagonia. From AI and advanced manufacturing to healthcare, consumer products and professional services, these businesses are expanding their impact, creating jobs, and demonstrating that entrepreneurial ambition continues to fuel the U.S. economy.
Among the 5,000 companies on the list, the median three-year revenue growth rate was 130 percent, and the companies collectively added more than 627,208 jobs to the U.S. economy over the past three years, the announcement said.
“Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision-making, and a refusal to sit still,” said Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance—it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement.”
Companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, companies must have been founded and started generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2025. Since then, some companies on the list may have gone public or been acquired.
In order to make the list, the minimum revenue required for 2022 was $100,000; the minimum for 2025 was $2 million.
