Adult patients are increasingly seeking aesthetic, efficient treatment options, yet many present with complex restorative needs that require a coordinated, interdisciplinary approach. In this CE webinar, we will review how digital workflows are transforming interdisciplinary treatment for adult orthodontic-restorative cases. The webinar will discuss the integration of a digital workflow including intraoral scanning, CBCT imaging, and digital treatment planning with clear aligner therapy to improve the patient experience and clinical outcomes.
The webinar will explore the biomechanics of aligner treatment, and the importance of selecting an aligner system for efficient and predictable results. Discussion of the use of digital treatment planning tools to enhance communication between clinicians and patients while supporting predictable, minimally invasive treatment approaches.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn how to:
- Understand the biomechanics of aligners and the importance of selecting an aligner system
- Integrate digital workflows, including intraoral scanning and CBCT, into interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Evaluate the role of clear aligner therapy in adult orthodontic-restorative cases
- Explore the use of interproximal reduction (IPR) and engagers in treatment planning
- Coordinate orthodontic tooth movement with restorative treatment for optimal aesthetic outcomes
- Improve patient communication and case acceptance using digital visualization tools
