POZNAŃ, Poland: The Central European Dental Exhibition (CEDE) opened today at MTP Expo Poznań and the Poznań Congress Center, bringing together dental professionals, manufacturers and educators for three days of lectures, workshops and product presentations. The event marks CEDE’s return to Poznań, where it was last held in 2019.
The last edition of CEDE in Poznań attracted more than 10,000 visitors, with nearly 200 companies presenting their products and services. This year’s edition combines continuing education, hands-on training and an exhibition of technologies, materials and equipment for dental practices and laboratories.
The main scientific event of CEDE 2026 is a conference on prosthodontics organised by the Polish Prosthodontic Society and the Prosthodontic Section of the Polish Dental Association. Over three days, speakers from Poland and abroad will present clinical cases, treatment protocols and practical approaches used in contemporary prosthodontics. The programme will address everyday clinical decisions, including treatment planning, material selection and the use of digital technologies in practice and laboratory workflows.
Practical workshops will complement the conference, covering digital smile design, CBCT-based planning, intra-oral scanning, surgical guides and digital prosthodontic workflows. Paediatric dentistry will also be part of the educational programme, with lectures and workshops focused on diagnosis, treatment planning and the clinical management of young patients.
Alongside the scientific programme, the CEDE dental expo will allow visitors to explore new products and compare solutions from different manufacturers. Exhibitors will present equipment, materials and technologies for dental practices and laboratories, with a focus on clinical workflows, digital dentistry and prosthodontics.
According to organiser Exactus, the decision to bring CEDE back to a June date followed an analysis of the dental events calendar. Although the exhibition has in recent years been associated with autumn, the first edition of CEDE was held in June. The organisers said the timing would help exhibitors avoid the concentration of autumn events and provide more time for business contacts to develop before the end of the year. Marek Wiktorowski, owner of Exactus, said that discussions with manufacturers and distributors had shown continued interest in the event. “We are pleased that the community still sees the need for CEDE,” he stated.
