BOCA RATON, Fla.—Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECCA) announced the launch of PECAA promise, its new portfolio of private label 1-day contact lenses that includes PECAA promise 1 day and PECAA promise 1 day premium, both of which became available to PECAA Max members beginning on June 1, 2026. PECAA noted that this product launch aligns with its commitment to protect and promote private practice. Last month, Vision Monday and 20/20 editorial director Anne Cooper spoke with PECAA’s Jonathan Worrall, president, and Lance Anderson, OD, co-founder and chief strategy officer, about this launch.
“Online contact lens availability poses a significant pain point for private practices, and PECAA promise lenses enable doctors to reclaim lost sales while offering patients the value and convenience they desire. It’s truly a win-win for both doctor and patient,” said Worrall. “The promise customer brand contact lens portfolio perfectly complements the comprehensive suite of solutions and resources available to PECAA Max members.”
PECCA promise 1 day is manufactured by CooperVision and is a customer brand family of both MyDay daily disposable and clarity 1 day contact lens portfolios that provide vision correction in 1-day silicone hydrogel contact lenses for virtually every refractive error, including sphere, toric and multifocal, PECAA said. The lenses are available to order directly from CooperVision and all major contact lens distributors. PECAA said it anticipates expanding the customer brand product line to include MyDay Energys later this year and the Biofinity brand family in 2027.
According to PECAA, a one-month in-market assessment preceded the product’s launch, with 27 doctors fitting more than 450 patients with promise contact lenses. Upon completion of the assessment, 96 percent of participating doctors rated the PECAA promise brand as valuable to their practice’s profitability, with 93 percent indicating the PECAA promise contact lens brand is an excellent fit for their practice’s product mix, the announcement said.
“Explaining to my patients that PECAA promise utilizes the same technology as the leading national brand was an important step to building trust and acceptance,” said Josh Rajasansi, OD, of two-location Experts on Sight in Arizona. “Based on our huge success with the in-market assessment, I am confident that PECAA promise will contribute significantly to our practice. This launch allows us to be competitive and increase our profitability while giving patients something they love, proving to me, once again, PECAA’s commitment to private practice success.”
