PARIS—Silmo Paris kicks off in just one month, launching a new season and setting the tone for the eyewear and optical industry through creativity, innovation, trends, networking and forward-thinking ideas, show organizers said this week. Scheduled for Sept. 25-28 at Paris Nord Villepinte, show organizers said they expect nearly 34,000 visitors, 950 exhibitors, more than 1,500 brands and professionals from 150 countries to attend. The four-day event is positioned as a key global meeting point for the eyewear and optical industry.
Silmo Paris will feature more than 60 sessions across four days, covering topics including artificial intelligence, smart glasses, health, retail, CSR and changing professional roles. A preview of these sessions include:
• Friday, September 25: Smart glasses: understand, anticipate and take action.
• Saturday, September 26: Predictive and preventive healthcare through the eye—a true window into the human body—imaging and AI.
• Sunday, September 27: Stand out or disappear: why retail needs to reinvent itself.
• Monday, September 28: Training tomorrow’s opticians in smart glasses and artificial intelligence.

The newsletter will be published live from Silmo Paris on Sept. 25, 26 and 27 and delivered to attendees by email each morning, with QR code access available throughout the show.
Written and published by Vision Monday in conjunction with Silmo, each day’s issue will be unique and include valuable information for show attendees and exhibitors, written in English with browser-based translation capabilities. Readers will find daily welcome letters from Silmo show organizers as well as up-to-date day-by-day schedules paired with helpful maps of both the Silmo show halls plus information on nearby attractions and transportation.
“In one month, don’t just watch change happen. Come and experience it,” show organizers said.
