Additional details, eligibility criteria, and program-specific requirements will be available within each application in the portal. The MS RHT Office has worked to make the application process as accessible and provider-friendly as possible.
Applicants do not need to have a UEI or MAGIC Vendor Number in place to submit an application. Those items will only be required prior to award execution for selected projects.
There is no need to hire a grant writer to apply. Applications are designed to be straightforward and user-friendly, utilizing pull-down selections and limited narrative responses to reduce administrative burden and allow providers to focus on the needs of their communities and the impact of their proposed projects.
Providers with larger, multi-year projects are encouraged to apply. Applicants should request funding for Year 1 activities during this phase while also sharing the broader vision for the project, including anticipated future phases, total project timeline, and estimated overall cost.
Additional funding opportunities are coming soon, including Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) Development and Pilot Programs focused on innovative approaches to care delivery and coordination. More information will be released in the coming weeks.
We appreciate your continued partnership and commitment to strengthening healthcare access and outcomes across rural Mississippi.
